SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT​

Feel free to reach out via phone or email to make an appointment. Before the first visit I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation if you would like to see if we will be a good fit for our work together.

Once you are scheduled for your first visit, you will then receive our Intake Form to fill out. Completing this documentation prior to our first meeting will allow us to have more time to talk.

FIRST VISIT

The goal of our first meeting is to learn about your goals for therapy and to get to know you as a whole person.​

We suggest you arrive 5 minutes early for your first session to find your way from parking to the building. 

​

What exactly is counseling?​

It is a place where you can:

  • have a nonjudgmental listener help you make sense of painful thoughts and feelings

  • openly discuss unhelpful patterns

  • learn new, helpful ways of responding to difficult thoughts, feelings, and urges

  • get ideas for practicing new ways of living in between sessions

Will my Benefits cover this?

Yes, as Todd is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, you benefits would be able to cover your

Non-Insured Health Benefits Program Supporting First Nation and Inuit Clients

As a provider of Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Todd is able to provide eligible First Nations and Inuit clients with coverage for services rendered  not covered through other social programs, private insurance plans and/ or provincial or territorial health insurance
